For our upcoming pop-up museum and festivalweekend in October we are announcing two Open Calls! Both calls are looking for work that connects to the theme of this year, physicaldigital-digitalphysical-physicaldigital-[…]. It is an exploration of the boundary between the physical and digital realms. Although the digital world exists in a space that is not directly accessible to our senses, it plays an increasingly important role in our lives. The use of metaphors and translations can greatly contribute to understanding, democratising and facilitating access to these realms.
Open Call #1: Residency Program
For this residency program, we are looking for artists that want to research, develop and produce works that “live“ on interface between the digital and the physical worlds. We are organising two residency opportunities: June 5th to 16th and September 4th to 15th. Both two week residencies will be hosted in the former Pieter Baan Centre, where Uncloud is based.

Open Call #2: General Open Call
For work that is already created, we are hosting a more General Open Call. With this open call we are looking for artist, technologist, and creators who want to contribute to our program. The call is intended for both works to show at the exhibition as for program components such as live performances, workshops or talks. This year we are especially interested in works that make a combination between installation art and performance, building a bridge between the exhibition and the performance program.
