This year, we teamed up again with Orbit Festival at Fort Vechten, and presented four digital art installations for the third consecutive year.
“𝗦𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿” is an installation performance featuring 40 lenses creating a spectacular light display, accompanied by a soundtrack of field recordings, techno, and noise. It explores themes of individualism and collectiveness, inviting introspection and a sense of sonder.

Inspired by Plato’s cave, “𝗔𝗨𝗥𝗔” offers a thought-provoking commentary on the pace of modern life. When the sphere is continuously occupied and cannot rest, it reminds the audience of how people often neglect their own need for rest and balance in their hectic lives. As Plato implied, we might all live in an illusion, blind to the fact that life can be beautiful if we can move beyond the daily rut.

“𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻” is a site-specific digital installation created for Orbit Festival by Isaiah Stomp and Ines Kooli. It uses colours from thermal imaging to visually interpret a computer’s released energy, speculating that this thermal energy could contain emotions.

“𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗖𝗼𝘀𝗺𝗼𝘀” is an immersive installation blending physical and digital elements to explore the micro and macro, seen and unseen. Using tangible components and a spatial soundtrack, it adapts to its location and time. The installation encourages visitors to contemplate their role in the cosmos, offering a profound, multisensory experience.
