10 Years of Breaking the Binary takes place from 01 to 11 October 2026 at the Beatrixgebouw, Utrecht. The Exhibition, featuring 13 artists in an immersive circuit, runs from 02 to 11 October. It takes approximately 90 minutes to experience as a full journey through sound, space and image.

Alongside the exhibition, there are workshops throughout the week, and the Festival Weekend with performances from 01 to 04 October.

Two special events are also programmed: Modulation. x Uncloud at de Helling on 08 October, and a closing celebration EKKO x Uncloud at EKKO on 11 October, marking the anniversaries of both EKKO and Uncloud.

Opening hours

The exhibition is open during the Festival Weekend on 02—04 October from 13:00 to 17:00 and on 07—11 October from 13:00 to 22:00.

Accessibility

The exhibition is an immersive circuit through the work of 13 artists, with an approximate duration of 90 minutes. Beware: the sensory experience might include: loud or sudden sounds, dark spaces or strong / flashing or strobe lights, smoke, haze or other atmospheric effects.

The Beatrixgebouw is wheelchair accessible, with lifts and wheelchair-accessible toilets. Assistance dogs are welcome, but the accessibility of the Uncloud exhibition may differ depending on the artworks and installation.

The Beatrixgebouw is a few minutes’ walk from Utrecht Centraal Station. Follow the signs for Jaarbeursplein and use the Beatrixgebouw’s entrance on the station side. Buses and trams also stop at Jaarbeursplein / CS Jaarbeurszijde.

The bicycle parking facility at Jaarbeursplein is located close to the venue.
Jaarbeurs has parking facilities at P2, P4 and P6, including accessible parking spaces. Please note that the Beatrixgebouw and the route towards it are currently within Utrecht’s zero-emission zone, so check your vehicle before travelling by car.

Practicalities

A cloakroom is available at the Beatrixgebouw reception.

A bar can be found at the entrance of the exhibition.
